VALENTINE DAY MARKED
One of the very interesting pattern in the SOS Hermann Gmeiner Kindergarten school Mombasa, is that: there is no any event in the calender which will go unnoticed.it is a common trend that learners get involved and sensitised in many global activities and events.
The Valentine day of this year is a clear proof of this assertion.Teachers, parents and children fully participated in marking the day.it was all red as learners and their teachers adorned in the valentine symbols.each learner was given a natural rose flower which in turn they presented to their parents.
One of the parents could not hide his joy as he received a flower from his three year old girl in KG1 called Sarah.He had this to say,`I `am delighted that my girl can express her love to me as a parent.I didn`t know that she knows anything about Valentine.
