BANDARI-KICTF-MICROSOFT ICT TRAINNING WORKSHOP

The ICT workshop organised by Kenya Ports Authority (KPA) in conjuction with Microsoft and Kenya ict Trust fund (KictF) has been one of its kind that has come with several good things right from the ministry of education and other stakeholders in the education and ICT at large. SOS Herman Gmeiner School has not been left behind either. Mr. Makange and Mr. Mae participated actively on this lively workshop. Some of the things that came up in the workshop was the integration of ICT in teaching in class.
Also it was annouced that TSC has partnered with ict providers to offers Laptops on credit (softloans) and also is developing a database for ICT compliant Teacher to be the focal people in developing the e-contents.
Moreover, the paradigm shift in teaching could not go without a mention where the learner becomes the centre of forcus with numerous resources and the Teacher plays the role of a guide. 
KPA has decided to donate some 200 refurbished computers to the participating schools in the workshop.
