NAME AND SHAME COMMISSION

As the ages advances mankind too is evolving at the start we had the Homo Habils, then came the homo Erectus or the upright man, the successor was the Homo Sapiean and then followed the Homo Sapiean Sapiean. Surprising the historians have not given the Homo name for the computer age Man. I think its high time people starts sending in their proposals for their names to be adopted for the next Homo (). But I hope the proposals will need to be in soft copy and send as an attachments to the Homo commission for it to be acceptable. This sounds 'hhrr' for the techno phobic who still fear the slightest grip of the mouse I think they need to get going and catch up with time. Please let not your name appear in the list of shame contribute as many articles as possible and enjoy your creativity with others. Nice weekend.--------by IT dept.

WELCOME MR. PRESIDENT

It was a beehive  of activity at the SOS CHILDREN'S VILLAGE MOMBASA , when the worlds' PRESIDENT of the organisation MR HELMUT CURTIN visited the facility on Friday the 28th May 2010. It had been long since the president visited Mombasa SOS Village as the last visit was the opening of the school in 2001. the sos mother children and the staff received the high profile visitors and all the routine for the station came to a stand still when he final arrived accompanied by the National Director Ms Okowa a
nd the Village Director Mombasa Mr. Mutiso.
Jovial moments came when the President set his foot on the SOS Children Village Mombasa ad SOS Mothers burst in to welcoming song. the air wave were ruled with tunes such as "welokamu" while children and teachers and the other staff clapped to welcome the president.
After the long day visit, the President finally came to tour the school where a host of entertainment activities had been organised. there was a marvelous team from the FSP children, the SOS Mothers also had a presentation the primary also gave their best shot.

The real picture of the President was shown when he joined the jig and criss crossed the dancing floor to enjoy himself with the sweet tune that had been prepared. al bore meaning as the paintings could spell it all. the Reds, Yellows , Greens and the Blues were all read to show case there prowess far away from the academic.

This years theme for the sports day was "SPORT IN CHARACTER CHARACTER
